• Stay near the center of your side — it gives you the best reaction time
• Use angled shots to make it harder for the AI to return
• The AI has a slight delay — fast angled shots can beat it
• Don't chase the ball too aggressively — return to center after each hit
• As the ball speeds up, focus on positioning rather than chasing

📜 History of Pong

Pong was created by Allan Alcorn and released by Atari in 1972. It was one of the earliest arcade video games and the first to achieve widespread commercial success. The game was so popular that bars and restaurants would install Pong machines alongside jukeboxes and pinball tables.

The original Pong was a two-player game, but single-player versions with AI opponents quickly followed. Atari's home version of Pong, released in 1975, became one of the first successful home video game consoles and helped launch the home gaming industry.

Pong's simplicity is its genius — the rules can be understood in seconds, but mastering angle control and positioning takes real skill. This design philosophy influenced decades of game development that followed.
